Brown Sugar Pork Chops

 Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare the pork chops by mixing the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
  3. Assemble by adding the olive oil and butter to the hot skillet. Place the pork chops in the skillet and spoon the melted butter over the top.
  4. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until the pork chops are golden brown and cooked through. Stir the Dijon mustard into the pan juices and spoon the glaze over the pork chops during the last minute of cooking.
  5. Garnish and serve with chopped parsley. Serve hot with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or rice.
