When it comes to entertaining, it’s all about entrees that have an incredible taste, but also allow us to spend time with our friends and family, rather than being stuck in the kitchen. Here we have a dish that requires only five ingredients, most of which are already on hand, and that reveal themselves perfectly all the time, no matter what!

Frozen dumplings may not seem like much in the freezer aisle, but with a little chili sauce, brown sugar and, wait, grape jelly, you have a dish that will convince everyone! Seriously, we couldn’t believe how tasty they were when we made this dish the first time, but now we know it’s for every party … it’s so good!

INGREDIENTS

32 oz. pre-cooked frozen meatballs
1 jar (12 oz) chili sauce
1 1/2 cups grape jelly
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Toothpick
PREPARATION

Combine chili sauce, gelatin, brown sugar and lemon juice in a small bowl.
Place the meatballs in a slow cooker and pour the chili jelly sauce over the meatballs.
Mix everything, then cover the slow cooker and cook over high heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are hot.
Serve hot and enjoy!
