Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus





What you need:

Local shopping
2 lb fresh asparagus, cut ends
12 bacon slices, uncooked
1/2 c light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

How to make asparagus wrapped in bacon:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Divide the asparagus tips into 12 packs (3-4 pieces each). Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each package, starting 1/2 “from the bottom of the tips. Attach the asparagus wrapped in bacon with a toothpick. Place the package on a shallow baking sheet.

Combine brown sugar and other ingredients in a medium saucepan; Heat the mixture until boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Pour the mixture over the asparagus packages.

Cook 25 to 30 minutes or until the spears start to wilt and the bacon is fully cooked. Take advantage!
